Our sweet, precious, beautiful baby boy is 1!! It is so incredibly hard to believe that a year ago we welcomed this sweet doll into our lives. The moment the nurse laid him on my chest, I was in awe. What a miracle of life and a piece of heaven. This past year has been full of the most amazing moments for both Andrew and I. We have watched our newborn grow into an infant and our infant begin to grow into a little boy. He still has the same sweet smile and calmness to his demeanor. He still twists those sweet little (I should say rolly) wrists and ankles when he gets excited. However, he is now dancing to any beat he can find, whether it is music or something as simple as the beat of the washing machine. He says ball, mama, dada, pu pu (for Harlee the puppy), uh-oh, ba, and more. He has even discovered pinching and biting..which means he has discovered just the beginning of discipline. Our once sweet gummy smile is as sweet as ever with 8 little match-stick teeth that are the most precious thing you have ever seen. (And a few molars have nearly arrived...watch out for little jaws!) The same genuine doll that made us the proudest parents ever as we watched him roll over for the first time or grab his toy rings for the first time is now crawling VERY quickly and wrapping his beautiful, chubby fingers on ours to walk. What a miracle this child is and what a blessing he is to our lives. Praise to the Lord for sharing this incredible human being with us.

Lane LOVES to share. He will give you a bite of anything and everything...watch out! He even likes to share things that aren't so tasty!
Lately, Lane lays that beautiful little face on his shoulder and smiles when he sees the camera. I couldn't help but give it a term..."Pose". So, you can simply mention pose and he does this nearly every time! Oh wee!
"It's my party and I can cry if I want to. Enough cake Mommy! It's icky, I am sleepy, and I would prefer a ba."
